Creative Director
Shuvra Talukder was born in the remote Haor region of Sunamganj, Bangladesh. From an early age, the natural beauty, diversity, and lifestyle of the Haor deeply influenced his artistic vision. After completing both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Development Alternative(UODA), he is now serving as the Chief Creative Officer at Art Pix Limited.
As a painter, his primary inspiration comes from the struggles of rural life—particularly the farmers’ existence and the reality of the Haor. In his “Farmers Life Struggle” series, he highlights themes such as agriculture, the bullock cart, and the inseparable bond between farmers and their livelihood. For this series, he developed unique creative surfaces inspired by traditional bamboo mats and brought his memories to life through acrylic colors.
Among his notable achievements, the “Silver Award at 2nd Oshino Fujisan Artpic, Tokio Japan, 1st Winner at Chinese Painting Workshop Bangladesh Shilpokola Academy, Kurite Uri Award at Annual Art Exhibition UODA” stands out. His favorite mediums are acrylic and watercolor, though he is equally skilled in oil painting, terracotta, and relief murals.
