Mahbub Murshid is a distinguished calligrapher and visual artist, celebrated for his unique approach to merging traditional script with modern artistic expression. Mahbub Murshid is a celebrated contemporary artist from Bangladesh, known for modernizing Arabic and Bangla calligraphy. Born in 1961 in Jessore, he apprenticed under S.M. Sultan, developing a unique style that blends classic and modern elements.
He founded the 'Bangladesh Calligraphy Artists' Guild' and has exhibited his work internationally. His pieces are in the Bangladesh National Museum and various private collections. and it is part of the esteemed collection at the Bangladesh National Museum, as well as numerous corporate and private collections worldwide.
