We were absolutely delighted to host a vibrant three-day workshop titled "Cover Illustration and Watercolor" featuring the esteemed artist Sohag Parvez. Throughout the event, participants delved into the fascinating world of watercolor painting, mastering essential techniques that bring their artistic visions to life. They also explored the nuances of book cover design, learning how to create compelling visuals that capture the essence of a story. The workshop was held in the inspiring setting of our gallery at the Bangladesh Military Museum, creating a perfect backdrop for creativity to flourish. Shohag Parvez, born in Kushtia, Bangladesh on December 31, 1981, found his passion for painting and culture early on. Graduating from Dhaka University's Fine Arts department in 2012, his art evolved to showcase Bangladesh's diverse landscapes and people. He travels extensively, capturing the essence of flatlands, mountains, rivers, villages, and diverse communities in his paintings. Parvez's love for children reflects in numerous illustrations and paintings. He's showcased his work in 70 exhibitions across countries like India, Pakistan, Vietnam, and the USA, creating over 3000 book covers and illustrations. With over 50 art camps and countless accolades, his art continues to earn appreciation worldwide.
